Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter this year. Our neighbor, Grandma Judy invited us down for a little Easter party. She is so great to my kids. We colored Easter eggs, then she had kites for everyone, and she even had an Easter basket full of goodies for all the kids. Then they had a little Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun. We had to cut out of there a little early and head over to Kim's for another Easter Egg hunt. My boy's had so much fun. They love all of there cousins and had a blast playing with them. Matthew wasn't really into the hunting part. He just wanted to hang out in Cooper's car, which is his all time favorite toy,  but Megan got him to join in the egg hunting fun.
The next day we had dinner with my parents then headed out to Jeff's family for a visit. My kids got way too much candy. Lucky for their dad. We had a great time spending the weekend with family. It's easy to forget the true meaning of Easter with all craziness going on around us. I'm so thankful for Easter and the opportunity it gives us to teach our children what Easter is really about.
