4th of July

We had such a great 4th of July this year. The 4th is one of my favorite holidays and I look forward to it every year. We started our day off at the Rupert parade. Our stake has a float in the parade and it was our ward's turn to decorate it. Jeff's niece Megan got to ride on it this year. So that was fun to watch. We then headed to Grammy's for a fabulous lunch. While we were there Luke decided to go ahead and eat right out of our salad bowl that was set out for everyone. At least it was our bowl. Right. Another funny thing Luke did was pee outside in front of everyone.  He hasn't quite learned how to keep his pants up over his bum and go at the same time, so everyone got a pretty good show of his cute little bum. We then headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Kowitz's for some slip N slid action. It was so fun. Everybody got in on the action. Matthew absolutely loved it, as long as some one went down with him. When we got to the bottom he would grin and hurry and start waddling back up the hill. It was so cute. He didn't love going by himself though. We decided to call it a night early and head home to our beds. The kids were wiped out, but we had so much fun with all of our family. Can't wait for next year.
