Branding

This post is out of order. It was supposed to posted back in May so please excuse its intrusion.

Branding this year was freezing cold. The wind blew the whole time but we stilled managed to get the job done and have a little fun. The boy's had lots of fun playing in the dirt. All Luke wanted to do was brand a cow. So of course with the help of his dad he got to brand one. Luke has been practicing roping at home with the ropin' dummy, so I asked him if he wanted to rope one and he told me "No, they are to fast in real life." We ended the day with dinner at the Albion Cafe and it was delicious. A perfect way to end a long cold day. No kids and no cooking. We hope next year is a bit warmer.
